Musing on Belonging Among the Wildflowers.
I was out at Lake Oconee yesterday for an interview. I usually take the interstate ~ but yesterday at the instruction of my subject I took the back way.
On the return to Madison, I saw this.
I kept driving and kept thinking that was incredible.
So I turned around.
I googled “little yellow wildflowers that bloom in Georgia in spring.” And the answer was…
Daffodils.
Good Grief. I know these aren’t daffodils.
But these bitty breaths of spring…were so beautiful.
My phone camera stunk at capturing them but it was worth stepping through the poison ivy and around the red ant mounds to take a picture.
Just like a favorite Tom Petty song.
I’ve really got to “get out more” with my music selections — but can’t beat this melody.
I wish you a day among the wildflowers.
What is the blue haze?
The sky was blue on Tuesday. Haze is from a very expensive filter I fashioned for my cell camera. I’ve patented it and have an Ap in the works. We’re going to be stinking rich.
