Life with kids. Or 10 photos that might serve as birth control.
Well, I’m not going to be getting pregnant again but there’s always adoption.
Weeks like we’ve had this summer make me realize how wonderful it is to be a parent.
And how challenging and exhausting it is. Just when you think the waters are calm, a dam breaks.
Linking up with Monday Listicles this week. Our prompt: 10 PHOTOS OF LIFE WITH KIDS.
It’s never dull and all those fish big and small were released.
(So was the snake in spite of my daughter’s sobs.)
What about you? Smooth sailing with the children this summer?
Um, a shark? Really? Yikes!
Sharks and snakes. EEEK! Awesome group of pictures, and totally NOT birth control!!
I haven’t been here in too long. I love the new(ish?) look of your site!
Yes sharks Greta. Eek. My son is quite the fisherman. And thanks about the comments about my newish 🙂 site.
Yes Jennifer. And the kids would swim out there too. But he takes his rig way out in a kayak. About 300 yards off shore.
Oh my…snakes. Sharks in pictures…but snakes…heeby jeeby worthy. LOL I concur with the sister. 🙂
Sharks!!! Wow! Looks like you all have a lot of fun together! Loved looking at these photos!
Hold the phone, hold the phone — how do we score a Piggly Wiggly shirt?!
(my son loves pigs, a serious ? above)
🙂
We do have a lot of fun Alexa. Fun for us — the shark not so much.
Lisa, they are from the Piggly Wiggly in Appalachicola. We go to St. George Island every year and they’ve also had Pig shirts, though the styles change. I guess you could try their corporate web site if you don’t know anyone who heads that way to the beach.
Omg love the new look! And snakes give me the creeps! And I can’t even imagine catching a shark!
Thanks Audrey. And yes. That snake got loose and I was SCREAMING for someone to catch the darn thing. I’ve never been around them long enough to be comfortable.
I am going to need therapy after both the snake AND the shark photos. Serious therapy!! I would scream in the presence of either one!! LOVE your title. So funny!!! –Lisa
So what ever happened with the snake? Was it one of your post that I read where it was on the loose? Wow to the shark pics!!!
Yes Kenya. Thank goodness they caught it and I made them set it free. My daughter called me the meanest mommy in the whole world. ha.
Lisa, the snake came out and slithered across the floor. I about died. My children didn’t seem phased by it at all.
OMGosh I would be squealing all day. Yuck…I like to see those things from afar thank you:)
A snake and a shark???!!!
you definitely win.
but I love the car one with you mouth open screaming, or is it singing?..the best. great moment.
The top shot just cracked me up. It is such a “kid shot”. Son aka snake handler is all business. Meanwhile, Sister is vamping it up beside him like she is posing for a magazine cover and the snake is unremarkable.
Okay, that photo of your son with the (big) shark scared me more than the snake. I can say that but once we had a snake in our house and I was terrified and screaming. It was much worse than the mice, even the chipmunk but not as bad as the black widow. I envy your kid summer days… sigh.
The baby shark was cute, but the big ol’ one scared me! I slowly have gotten over hearing the Jaws theme in my head when we head to the beach. This might make me rethink that.
LOVE your photos! You are all having such a great time! Summer is flying for me – and I haven’t taken enough pictures!
Well, Julia if I included a sound track of my children this morning it would be nothing but bickering. I’m trying to appreciate these days but it’s no all Kodak moments.
You win with the shark and snake pics!
You are so pretty.
O…M…G!!!!! SHARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:). Stasha.
My heart stopped when I saw the sharks. EEK! Love these pics. Your curly-haried boy reminds me of my 12 yo. Erin
